Limited Warranty

This warranty applies exclusively to the following ddecointeriors.com products:

  • Composite Decking Boards
  • Composite Cladding Boards

ddecointeriors.com (“ddecointeriors”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) that, under standard use and service conditions, the products will be free from splitting, splintering, rot, or structural damage caused by termites or fungal decay for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

Conditions Not Covered by Warranty

ddecointeriors.com decking does not warrant against and is not responsible for any product failure, malfunction, or damages attributable to the following:

  • Improper installation or failure to comply with ddecointeriors.com’s installation instructions (including improper gapping, joist spacing exceeding 30cm, or use of non-approved fasteners).
  • Use beyond normal conditions or in applications not recommended by ddecointeriors.com’s guidelines or local building codes.
  • Movement, distortion, collapse, or settling of the ground or supporting structure.
  • Acts of God (e.g., flooding, hurricane, earthquake, lightning), environmental conditions (e.g., air pollution, mold, mildew), staining from foreign substances, or normal weathering (fading, lightening, chalking, dirt accumulation).
  • Variations or changes in product color.
  • Expansion or contraction.
  • Improper handling, storage, abuse, or neglect of products by the purchaser or third parties.
  • Unpaid products.
  • Ordinary wear and tear.

Authorization and Disclaimer of Additional Statements

No person or entity is authorized by ddecointeriors.com to make, and ddecointeriors.com shall not be bound by, any statement or representation regarding the quality or performance of products beyond what is contained in this warranty. This warranty can only be altered or amended through a written instrument signed by both ddecointeriors.com and the purchaser.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for the express written warranty provided herein, ddecointeriors.com makes no other warranties, guarantees, or indemnities, express or implied, arising by law, course of dealing, usage of trade, custom, or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranty of merchantability and implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. All such other warranties, guarantees, and indemnities are hereby disclaimed, overridden, and excluded from this transaction.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances will ddecointeriors.com be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost profits, lost sales, loss of goodwill, use of money, use of goods, stoppage of work, or impairment of assets), whether such damages are sought in contract, in tort (including negligence and strict liability), or otherwise. ddecointeriors.com’s liability with respect to defective products shall in no event exceed the replacement of such.
